Publication Fee

To support the costs associated with maintaining a high-quality publishing process and ensuring free and open access for readers, authors are required to pay Article Processing and Publishing Charges (APCs) for their manuscripts only after successful internal/desk review. The journal does not charge any submission fee, and there are no additional or hidden charges based on the length of the article, number of figures, tables, or supplementary materials. The APCs solely contribute to editorial management, peer-review coordination, publication, and online dissemination of scholarly work.

APCs details for National Contributors:

APC for International Peer Review: 5000 PKR (Non-Refundable)
Publishing Charges: 10000 PKR (For Selected Articles after successful peer-review)

APCs details for International Contributors:

Processing Charges: 30 USD (Non-Refundable)
Publishing Charges: 100 USD (For Selected Articles after successful peer review)

Sources of Funding

The International Bulletin of History and Social Science (IBHSS) receives financial and institutional support from the Sir Asif Educational Research Institute, Chung Multan Road, Lahore, Pakistan. This support facilitates editorial operations, peer-review management, publication processes, and digital platform maintenance, ensuring academic rigor, transparency, and ethical research dissemination at national and international levels.

Submission Process (Online Via OJS & Email)

Manuscripts are accepted on a continuous basis and must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors may submit their manuscripts to Zauq-e-Tahqeeq (Research Journal) through either of the following official channels:

  1. Online Submission (OJS)

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts through the journal’s Online Journal System (OJS) by creating an author account and uploading all required files (manuscript, title page, author declarations, etc.) in accordance with the journal’s prescribed guidelines.

  1. Email Submission

In case of any technical issue or special circumstances, manuscripts may also be submitted via the journal’s official email address.
The subject line should clearly mention:
“Manuscript Submission – The International Bulletin of History and Social Science (IBHSS”
All manuscript files should be attached in MS Word format.

Publication Workflow

After submission, the manuscript undergoes the following stages:

  • Initial Editorial Screening (scope, formatting, completeness, plagiarism check, and policy compliance)
  • Double-Blind Peer Review by independent subject experts
  • Revision(s) as required by reviewers and editors
  • Final Editorial Decision by the Editor / Editorial Board
  • Copyediting, Proofreading, and Online Publication
